LøIc Ehrard is an architecture photographer based in Brussels, Belgium. His work is an invitation to view our world differently. He seeks to deconstruct the urban environment to reveal its hidden beauty – the kind found in unexpected angles and subtle contrasts or shadows. Each of his photograph is crafted to preserve the essential.
His inspiration comes from talented photographers like Andreas Gursky, Didier Angels, Maria Svarbova and Jon Setter. Sunrise and sunset are his creative playgrounds. He uses the light with caution in his compositions, stepping away from traditional panoramas to portray the spirit of our cities. Transforming urban architecture into geometry, colored patterns and half-light scenes while keeping a minimalist approach are his place of expression.
